Excellent curriculum and resources are available to homeschoolers that will meet their every need from academics to art supplies. Many of the suppliers are Canadian and many are located in BC!   At the BC Home School Convention, held the first week of June each year, vendors attend from across North America. This is an excellent opportunity to meet the publishers and browse through the materials before purchasing.

Successful homeschooling does not necessarily equate with expensive resources.  First time homeschoolers will be uncertain where to begin and so it is important to take time to ask questions then with the answers decide what  homeschool philosophy and instruction methods you will incorporate into your home that will be effective and tailored specifically for your child.  Here is a shopping mall of curriculum providers.  Contact us for recommendations. 

Home based students in BC must be registered or enrolled with a school.   The school most likely will have suggestions for curriculum or even pre-packaged programs.
